![]() ![]() ![]() Soon after Olga Tokarczuk won the Nobel Prize some people claimed that it was all political and that she’s actually not that talented, but I think they just didn’t understand the value of her books. To sum up the comments: if you read it for the beautiful poetic language and treat it more like a masterpiece than a regular novel, you’ll be over the moon, but if you read it as a bedtime story, you’ll be bored as hell. Hi, personally I haven’t read yet it but I checked it on polish website. Bieguni originally published in 2007 by Wydawnictwo Literackie. Now she’s not on everyone’s lips anymore and readers are in general pleased with her work :) The translation of Olga Tokarczuks Bieguni (‘Flights’) has reached the finale of the prestigious American literary award National Book Award. ![]() Hi, personally I haven’t read yet it but I checked it on polish website and the rating is quite good. ![]()
