![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Eventually, Liv can’t put up with wearing a skirt any longer, so Operation Pants Project officially begins. The whole year long, Liv has to put up with bullying from Jade, whether it be about his two moms, or about other things. He gets paired up with Jacob, and they quickly become friends. A couple minutes later, Jade enters with Chelsea at her heels. He spots his friend Maisie in homeroom, and they begin to talk. Liv enters school with his face down, and his scratchy tights bunched up. There is one small difference though: while the whole world sees him as a girl, he knows he’s a boy. Liv is like any other kid nearing his first day of middle school: nervous, excited to see his friend again, and annoyed with the school dress code, making all girls wear skirts and all boys wear pants. If you happen to read it, I’d like to hear what you thought of it. The Pants Project by Cat Clarke is a funny realistic fiction book that I recently finished. ![]()
